Imam using mobile phone (SMS/Text/WhatsApp) while leading the prayers?
I saw this video on some pages and profiles where people are saying that see the Imam got text (SMS) while he was leading the Salah and he not only checked the SMS (text/WhatsApp) but also replied the SMS (text/WhatsApp) as well.
Well Its an edited video. I mean the video where sound of SMS (text/WhatsApp) can be heared and then we can see the text (sms) appearing on screen.
Whats the truth?
The truth is that the Imam's name is Ustaz Khairul Ikhwan Al-Muqri and he is leading the Isha prayer and the traweeh in this video. in this particular place where he is being mocked and humialated he is leading tarawaeeh. And he took his phone out of his pocket to recite the Surah he have to recite. May be he is not a complete Hafiz or may be that particular Surah was not in his mind fully so he took help of mobile phone to recite the Surah.
Now its another thing that is reciting Quran this way (especially by Imam) is correct or not but at least he was not reading or replying some SMS (text/WhatsApp). Please watch complete video for un-edited version..
